The mission of Generation Justice is to inspire youth to become multidimensional leaders who are committed to social transformation.

Generation Justice is a multiracial, multicultural project that trains youth to harness the power of community and raise critical consciousness through leadership development, civic engagement, media production and narrative shift in the areas that most impact New Mexicans- racial justice, health, education, early childhood development, and economic security. The mission of Generation Justice is to inspire youth to become multidimensional leaders who are committed to social transformation. GJ and our Narrative Shift Partnership (NSP) are advancing vaccine equity & inclusion by engaging youth in curriculum covering the science of vaccines, methods of identifying and debunking misinformation and disinformation about COVID-19 and other public health issues, and the power of traditional and social media campaigns to advance health equity. During our upcoming Summer Institute, youth will begin to apply this training towards the development of science-based and CDC-aligned messages on vaccines and public health, which will then be distributed to communities across New Mexico through radio and social media platforms.
