Better Together FY25 Funding Cycle

The original scope of Better Together was specifically to support New Mexico organizations in providing accurate pandemic information and to encourage COVID-19 vaccination. The current scope has been expanded to include information and access to all vaccines while continuing to emphasize COVID-19 vaccination. Immunization rates are low across New Mexico; all demographics and counties require attention. 

Better Together seeks applications from established New Mexico community based organizations to reach New Mexicans with accurate vaccination information and facilitate access to vaccines. Applications are due by 12:00 am MST (midnight) on 1/19/2024. The funding cycle ends 6/30/2025. Using the Better Together Application, community based organizations will explain if they plan to provide accurate and vetted vaccine information, increase the opportunities for vaccine access, or both. Both initiative types are important to the goal of increasing vaccination rates in New Mexico.

Funded by the Center for Disease Control via the New Mexico Department of Health. Successful applicants will enter into a provider agreement with the NM Department of Health.

Three information sessions were scheduled: 

Wednesday, November 8 at 10:30 am MT, Thursday, November 9 at 1:30 pm MT, &

Tuesday, November 28 at 10:30 am MT
